Rory

In between commissions, I’ve spent the past two weeks working on this pastel of my son Rory.

Rory is not one for posing for photos or flashing a giant smile on request, so rather than a portrait of him smiling at the viewer I decided to capture him as he really is, studying a bird identification guide while stuffing himself with an Oreo cookie!
